Shipping Containers types
An intermodal container, often referred to as a shipping container, is designed and built for the transportation of general cargo by sea (above or below deck) and by land (road or rail) throughout the world, and will be suitable for the environmental conditions imposed by these modes of transport.
Mandatory information
The marking material will be a self-adhesive film decal. Decals are used to convey basic information about the container or to give visual warnings:
– Owner badges,
– Owner code, serial number and check digit,
– Size and type code,
– Weight details.

These are the most common shipping containers at EVERGREEN.
