After the arrival of this \u201cmegamax\u201d ship, only two of this class remain to be delivered, so that the delivery of the 11 ordered in 2015 is complete. The last one is expected to arrive next September.  <\/p>\n\n<p>For the time being, <strong>Ever Govern<\/strong> has joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/greeniberica.pt\/a-evergreen-inserida-na-ocean-alliance-vai-mobilizar-330-navios-para-novos-servicos\/\">OCEAN Alliance<\/a> in the \u201cNEU6\u201d Asia &#8211; Europe loop (called \u201cCEM\u201d by EVERGREEN).<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Features of Ever Govern and the New ULCVs<\/h3>\n\n<p>As we&#8217;ve mentioned in the past, these 400-meter-long, 59-meter-wide behemoths are equipped with an 11-cylinder MAN-B&amp;W G95ME engine, which produces around 59,250 kW. This engine allows them to reach speeds of up to 21 knots. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The New ULCVs and the Environment<\/h3>\n\n<p>Unlike the first seven ships of this class already delivered, the Ever Govern, as well as the other three ships that make up the 11 on order, already come with a SOx scrubber installed. This \u201cextra\u201d means a loss of 144 TEU of capacity (from 20,388 TEU to 20,244 TEU). This is, however, an investment aimed at the greater good of preserving the environment.
