Qatar Airways Will Have a Daily Flight to Lisbon!

Like we’ve shared last week, Green Ibérica’s represented Qatar Airways Cargo, will have direct flights to Lisbon, starting June 24. The announcement became official in the opening ceremony of ITB Berlin, the world’s largest international travel and tourism trade show.

In the ceremony, that took place last Wednesday, March 6, the CEO of the group, Mr. Akbar Al Baker, announced seven new destinations, in which besides Lisbon, are: Malta; Rabat, Morocco; Langkawi, Malaysia; Davao, Philippines; Izmir, Turkey; and Mogadishu, Somalia.

This investment fits in the growth policy of the global route network the airline is having. This reality leaves the CEO “tremendously excited to be adding seven new destinations to our rapidly expanding global route network later this year”.

The Aircraft in charge of this service will be a Boeing 787 DreamLiner, like the one in the video bellow.
